Matching objectives and content
In this process, it is suggested to work together with other colleagues, even from different subjects in order to fulfil the interdisciplinary perspective that is extremely needed in the field of sustainability education. Such an approach will serve as a basis for matching better objectives and content and at the same time build collaborative tasks that lead to respect for self, others and working together to transforming curricula towards sustainability. In this effort, never starting from scratch, but building on what you have at hand. It is important to acknowledge that often sustainability related concepts and teaching may be found within existing practices and content, most often hidden, disparate and not specifically addressed as sustainability learning objectives. Matching sustainability objectives and content based on carefully identified sustainability themes together with suitable instructional methods and sustainability pedagogies is of paramount importance.
